PET
Overview

PET is a polyester series, semi-crystalline material (but there are also amorphous). The polycondensate of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, referred to as PET. It has better mechanical properties, heat resistance and chemical resistance than PBT, and has strict requirements on strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, toughness and electrical properties.
The relative density of pure resin is 1.33, the glass transition temperature is 68-80℃, the melting point is 250-255℃, the long-term use temperature of reinforced resin is 155℃, and the decomposition temperature is >330℃

Advantage
◆ It also has better dimensional stability in the range of 155-220℃
◆ Excellent electrical properties
◆ The water absorption rate is low, and there is almost no change in electrical properties caused by water absorption after molding.
◆ Higher strength and rigidity than PBT
◆ Good surface gloss
◆ Creep resistance
Disadvantage
◆ Easy to hydrolyze when used in hot water above 50℃ for a long time
◆ Poor acid resistance
