Overview

Strong weather-resistant plastic ASA

ASA resin is a terpolymer composed of acrylonitrile (A), styrene (S) and acrylic rubber (A), but it may also be based on other synthetic rubbers.

The difference between ABS and ASA is that acrylic rubber without double bonds replaces butadiene rubber, which is inherently strong and weather resistant.

Weather resistance is about 10 times higher than ABS, other mechanical properties, processing properties, electrical insulation, and chemical resistance are similar to ABS

Because the resin itself has excellent weather resistance, it can be dyed into a variety of bright colors and is not easy to fade. Products processed with ASA resin have exceptional durability even in cold- and heat-resistant climates even without coating protection. Long-term outdoor exposure to ultraviolet rays, humidity, heat, cold and impact can still maintain its color stability.

It can be thermoformed (also injection and blow molding)
